I LOVE this video of Coco Rocha in Venice. It’s fun and playful. The city of Venice is so dreamy and romantic. I’ve been there twice and it’s probably one of my favorite places in the whole world (and no it doesn’t smell bad).

Since I’m currently in a Latin American Art class at UF, and have just started a whole chapter on Frida Khalo, I decided to post this. Coco recently tweeted that she was channeling Frida in one of her shoots. How awesome is that!? I never thought she resembled Khalo until I saw this picture. Not bad Coco ( & makeup artists). Can’t wait to see the shots.
In February, Coco Rocha and Behati Prinsoloo traveled to Haiti and brought with them letters from people all over the world filled with love and hope with the intention of bringing happiness to the people there. What an amazing thing these two models did. Now if only everyone took out some time in their day to do something nice for someone else. All it takes is a small gesture to make things a better place.

After interning at Elite NY last summer, I became really familiar with Coco Rocha’s work and had the pleasure of meeting her. She’s the most amazing poser I have ever seen, and she is as beautiful in person as she is in photos (photoshop doesn’t have anything on her). According to Modelina, Coco has switched from Elite NY to Wilhelmina NY, sad face. The reason for the switch is not discussed but her work speaks for itself and I’m sure she’ll continue to graze covers no matter what agency she’s with.
Coco has a very heavy social network presence and is currently conquering the world flying from shows in Milan to photoshoots in Argentina. She recently partnered up with Jacobs to do a completely photoshop-free campaign for the Canadian brand. Very inspiring eh?
